THIS NEW ROUND WILL BE ON THE 29TH AND 30TH JUNE For nomination forms email cityview@hotmail.com.au !a new 4wd event coming to south east qld early next year, It is a buggy/truggy style event run through some very popular terrain for these type of vehicles, there will be as much ROCK as most people could handle, at this stage the plan is for a two day event depending on numbers. it will be the fastest time wins with a first prize of $1000.00. It is being held at CITY VIEW 4WD PARK in an area that has been used in popular events held by the previous operators of the land that city view has recently expanded on to. More information and confirmed dates will be posted as it comes to hand. WATCH THIS SPACE :armsup:

HERES AN UPDATE FOR THIS EVENT

THE BASIC FORMAT WILL BE SOMETHING LIKE THIS

qualifying stage early on saturday morning, this is to obtain the start order only

1st stage will start mid to late morning and run into the afternoon
X
2nd stage will be under lights on saturday night

3rd stage will be early sunday morning and will run all day

Presentation of the winners cheque will be on sunday afternoon

all stages are on or in rock.(except possibly the qualifying stage) The times for the three stages will be added together to give a total overall time for the event and the winner will be the vehicle with the fastest overall time. All stages must be completed within the allotted dnf time for that stage to remain in the running. If you dnf a stage you will still be able to compete in the following stages but not in the running to win the event and you will be started at the rear of the field.

Entry fee if paid on or before the 31st of May 2013 will be $165.00 and this will cover camping for the driver and co-driver only and for friday and saturday nights

Entry fee if paid after the 31st of May but before the 14th of June 2013 will be $245.00 and will cover camping for the driver and co-driver only and for friday and saturday nights

Entry fee if paid after the 14th June and before the 21st of June 2013 will be $330.00 and will cover camping for driver and co-driver only for friday and saturday nights

No entries will be accepted after the 21st of June, so save yourself some money and get those entries in early

ok so we have set the date for the australia day long weekend being the 26th to 28th january 2013 giving people heaps of time to get here and home. but the best news is weve just had it confirmed that 4WD TV are going to be here showing there support for the event and filming your cars doing what they do best.

If I had a rig to drive, probably (currently getting built in USA). And yes the pic in the link it is a highway !! What is outside the pic I didn't initially check. Some of the others look good though. If I am home from work I might come out, although it is my Bday weekend :roll:
