Filthy Motorsports - Off-Road Racing Parts (US EXPORTER)

Post by Filthy Motorsports »

Hi All,

My name is Ben and I'm the owner of Filthy Motorsports. I had customer that is a members on this board suggest I introduce myself, so here it goes!

We're an off-road racing parts supplier in the US and do quite a bit of international shipping, primarily to Australia and Europe.

I'm posting in the Nissan section because King Off-Road Racing Shocks has a bolt-on kit for the Patrol that has been quite popular in your part of the globe and I'm told finding a company to ship them your way hasn't been easy. We ship orders your way just about every week so we'd love to help however we can. Also, keep in mind that we also custom build and tune any King shock or coilover to fit any application and offer quite a few other products as well.

We primarily us USPS to ship orders internationally as they are they cheapest and fastest to clear customs, however, we can also ship via any other major carrier or ship to the freight forwader of your choice.

If anyone has any questions for me please feel free to reply here or send me a PM or email.

Cheers!

Ben

I've ordered a set through Ben, went out of his way to make sure I ordered the right shocks and advised me on what bumpstops to get. The advantage over local suppliers is the price!

Sorry for the delay in getting back to everyone, I've been browsing the forum but never got an email notification that this thread had responses :?

To answer your question, we specialize in the high end stuff like King Shocks, ORI Struts, Beadlocks, EMF Rod Ends, and Lockers as our customer base here in the states is primarily professional desert racers, rock crawlers, and the big mud truck and monster truck guys down in Florida.

Shipping half way across the world isn't cheap so we're not the place to go for small ticket items that you can get locally but if you need a set of custom built shocks or parts that aren't readily available in Oz (like a Ford Raptor Brembo brake kit that I shipped out yesterday), we will do our best to make it happen!

I've subscribed to this thread and promise to check back daily.

Cheers!

Ben

We start by asking a bunch of questions about the vehicle, your driving style, and the kind of ride characteristics you are after. The more information you can supply (exact corner weights are the best) the better we can work with King's engineers to get the valving right and believe me when I say they are brilliant when it comes to getting shocks dialled in - plus, they keep a database of every vehicle that they have professionally tuned so a lot of times it's just looking it up there. Even then, if you get them and they are not quite right or things change and you want to re-valve them, the shim stacks are cheap and the shocks are actually quite simple to work on with just basic hand tools (and I'd be more than happy to walk you through that process if that comes up).

Had a customer order the wrong front shocks for his Patrol so we've got a brand new pair of King 97-10 Patrol 6" lift front shocks with compression adjusters (PN 25001-137A) on the shelf and ready to ship.

PM or reply for a discounted price quote. :D

hey ben i am currently about to start pricing some rims from various places in the states.

do u guys stock any 20 x 9 or 10" steel beadlocks? i could just buy the band, beadlock and hardware or the whole rim. i am not sure on offset or PCD yet as haven't got that far on truck and will laser cut the centers my self and make suit when i get that far.

so 5 x 20 x 9 or 10" steel beadlocked rims - with or without centers.

thanks mate

Hi Sam,

I get quite a few requests for wheels so I'll post this reply publicly.

Unfortunately, we have yet to figure out an economical way to get wheels delivered to our customers in Australia. This is primarily because they are often too large and too heavy to ship in pairs and that leaves us with a shipping cost of about $200-$250 per wheel. Sea freight is the only other option, however, even though it is cheaper, by the time we ship them to the port and you drive down to pick them up at your nearest port, the costs are about the same to you.

That being said, I can still make it happen if you like, but this might be an item you may just want to source locally.

Cheers!

Ben
