Will a HZJ75 rear diff center replace an 80 series rear diff center.

Yes, most cruiser rears are all interchangeable.

im pretty sure the axle splines are different! ? !? ?

nah im wrong

its the 105 that has the different axle spline.

40 55 60 75 80 rear all the same and interchangeable by the looks of it, although the carrier bearings are 50mm for the 80 series carriers it seems, and 45mm for the older models.

I am currently running a 75 rear diff in my 80 housings with 80 axles.
