79 rear springs into 75?

g day my first post .

im looking at throwing a set of 79 series ute springs into the rear of my 75 (sprung over) , is it a straight swap is there much work that i will need to do?

also can i throw them in the front as well . ( it has high steer obviously) as i need to try and move the front diff as far as i can . and the longer springs wouldnt hurt

any help would he much appreciated

In the back yes. Front no.

Try 3/4 eleptic in the rear on 79 springs. Use a parabolic main leaf as the 3/4 link.

is 3/4 where you weld a leaf on the chassis .

and do you have any tips on moving the front diff forward

If you flip the current front springs you should get an inch or two, reverse shackle has same result.

They are much longer and will require repositioning of the spring mounts.

Hey mate, if your looking for flex I'd do 79 series leafs all around your 75 series I've done it there's not any work in it!! It's all the same leaf but just a tad long but you gotta have extended shackles for the twist.

Umm if youve "done it" before, youll know that that wont work and alot of work is needed..
