When I spoke to ruffstuff last they said housings only were thru Dragtec as they have a distrubution agreement. Everything else is fine.

In theory one could get a housing built and just send to somewhere within the US. Then ship to Australia..

The reason people by from the states is cause of there budgets, Id buy my shit local if they could match the same prices, they cant or they dont .. its simple. When i bought my Ruff Stuff products from Dan at Ruff Stuff he was about $1000 cheaper than Dragtec or any other australian based company.. trust me I looked but nobody came close.

can't help you on the d60 but any chev fullsize truck had the 14 bolt up to about the early 2000's, after which they went to the AAM axle. My chev C30 has a dually 14 bolt, and the C10-C20, C or K 1500 and C or K 2500's all had either a SRW or DRW 14 bolt

I understand this, i got my heims direct through dan too ( although they farked up the irder several times) but pricing my hydro gear and price is similar to direct from across the pond, for those who havent bought gear before it still pays to price locally as well and where possible buy local

So do either Buds or Drag Tec make a front and rear housing that will stand up to 500+ HP and jumping?

I swear I'm trying to keep up.

Buddy does some great work and his housings are top quality (i have one in my lux) but he takes on WAY to much work and promises a lot of things he struggles to deliver. Prob ok if you are local to him but like everything Me and my brother inlaw has bought off him you get a lot of excuses before you get your product.

Try calling him on his phone as its your best chance 0417 708 598

I put 2 flipped 60's Buds Customs Housing in my moon buggy.
I have the New Strongest yet Buds Customs Comp housing. It's a Dana 60 GQ hybrid. Pics early in this thread. Doubt there be any issues with the strength there, I don't have 500hp not plan too jump it but I've broken most things!

I'm local to Buds and have known him for years. I keep going back. Might even look into a rear soon....

Serg I don't remember seeing a message or text from you in regards to housings.

Brad I sincerely apologise for what happened with both your orders.

The last 12 months has been hard and people like Ben know what has happened outside work.

The best contact is 1st email sales@budscustoms.com.au failing that there is mobile 0417708598 and land line 0731331660

The business till just of recent was run like when it was still a hobby / 2nd business but has grown to so much more in such a short time. Have put on a full time employee recently and about to search for a second.

no dramas Bud, I was just curious on price (bit of a dream for me) I do hope it kicks off and can maintain as a full time gig for you guys. It would be great to see in the long run a smiliar rang to Ruffstuff or the like with all the goodies and Aussies buying Aussie products made from Aussie steel

cheers
Serg

ps just checked your mobile, still the same.
