Tyres and lift.
Tyres and lift.
Just done a 2inch lift on my Ute D22, and was wondering what tyre sizes can i look at? Will i be able to fit 33's without body lift?
Right now i have 265-65-16 tyres and rims, what tyres sizes can i look at that are bigger and will still fit under the car without body lift?
thank!

Re: Tyres and lift.
I'm not too clued up on the d22, but I think you can only squeeze 32's under it, besides with the lack of power you wouldn't want to go too big anyway.

Done some more research
With your lift, you can fit 33s but you will need to remove your mudflats and take to your inner guard with a grinder.

Re: Tyres and lift.
Hey mate just try a set of 33 under ur d22 using a set from wreckers cheap before you buy new 33
Re: Tyres and lift.
Ok, I'll spell it out, the factory ones won't fit he larger rubber, but making something out of 3mm rubber should work fine.Mr Farty Pants wrote:which will make the car illegal?Busiboy wrote:Done some more research

You still need to grind away metal in your inner guard.

Re: Tyres and lift.
If I were you I'd look at the body lift aswell. Rather than cutting out my inner guards etc. better to be lookin at it than lookin for it.
Not lost
Re: Tyres and lift.
The 2 most common sizes I can think of around the 33" size arenavaraboy22 wrote:will here you wont find 33s at the wreckers there isnt much interest in them here as in aussie. but will try to get it off one of my friends 4x4 and try it on the ute. the tyre size i was thinking of IF there even is that size is 265/90/16 or 265/95/ 15 or 16??

285/75R16 which is a touch under.
Or a 255/85R16 which is a little bigger then a 33. This size is pretty popular with Land Rover folk, and they seem to be everywhere in the world, so you might have some luck with this size.
If you're happy with a 32" tyre, just got with a 265/75R16

Re: Tyres and lift.
Don't waste your money on bling wheels, you'll only fuck them up out wheeling, just get some steel wheels.
I'm not quitting drinking, I'm retiring at the top of my game - sporting comeback likely.
Re: Tyres and lift.
Best off talking to your tyre shop, your rims could be 7 inch or anything else in your part of the world.navaraboy22 wrote:Thanks for the replys. So right now i have some 16 AEZ rims on it.. if i buy stock nissan navara rims can i fit the 285/75/16 on it?

There should be a stamp on the wheel to tell you what size they are

Re: Tyres and lift.
You'd probably find more specific information on the navara forum regarding exact combinations etc
