I'm thinking of putting extended shackles on my hilux (1990 DC), the current ones are 125mm long 5" i was thinkin of going to 7". does anyone know how long the after market ones are? how hard are they to make yourself? Other than longer brake lines and longer shocks is there anything else i would have to adjust/change.
Advice would be much appreciated. thanks.

My mind is like a steel trap....quite dangerous because i forget where i left it.
after market ones are generally made to your own desire.
All they are are two peices of 4mm steel with the appropriate sized hole drilled in the top and bottom and cut to size.
