I put up the details earlier because I have had quite a few members asking me not about stroker kits but lighter and stronger components to go in their race trucks.
Thus material type & cost was put out there for the people that have been PMing me about it after they saw it on another thread some months back.
I will even have a full set of parts ready to slot into an engine in the short future that I can post results up of.

Okay so you are talking piston speeds and such now.
The numbers you have come up with, how do they compare with a stock setup?
Gotta have a little snigger to myself.
I really am behind the times.
20 years ago we talked about it over a box then eventually someone built it over a box or 3.

Ok guys settle down, we can all learn off each other.
Northside, did you take into account that the guy using this crank will probly have custom rods and pistons that are stronger and lighter.
Lets save the rest for the dyno.

I assume he will be using lighter/stronger components also. Kudo's to him for building the kit and I hope it works out well.

Only problem is after our initial R&D + engineering time etc.. that the manufacturing company has put in, they want minimum order of 10.
And at $3K a pop, its not something im just going to get in on the off chance of selling one or two a year.

Having forged construction over cast is already a huge benefit..
I would say over 50% more than standard.

Update, I have received my conrods and UPS have my stroked crank waiting for customs clearance.
Rods weight is approx 650grms on the kitchen anolog scales, so they are approx 550grms lighter.
Just waiting for pistons and pins now.

I have the pistons and pins and they look very nice. Finances are very tight and I have been considering selling it stroker kit and all. Watch this space.

It must also be noted that it is easy to talk up a big game online. It is much harder to play the game in the real world. Results will speak louder than words every time. Facts a figures gents... and i emphasise the FACTS...

Its running, still running it in befor pump mods etc, runs very smooth after dynamic balancing all the recipricating mass.

Nicely done mate. Don't skimp on the other stuff like the the intercooler otherwise you won't do it justice. It will be nice to see how it runs once you get the other stuff matched up to it like the pump and turbo etc. What compression did you end up getting? I know you didn't mention the chamber work that you had done on the head. Just curious if you had any problems with the chamber size and how you overcame them. Did you open up the chambers on the head or did you just dish the pistons?

The hard part was already done for me by the Engineering company in America, the rods are shorter so the comp ratio is still 23:1 and there are no issues with clearance, the piston to deck height was .009" so no issues clearing the head with a grade 3 gasket. I did all the head work myself, I spent about 2hrs a day for a mounth porting and polishing the inlets and exhaust ports, should flow much better now, there was plenty of iron to take out of the exhaust ports, and I know someone will say why did you polish the inlet side, lets see what sort of debate that starts and what reasons people can think of:)
I had TD42T precomp chamber installed and I intend on keeping this engine reliable so I won't be making a dyno monster out of it, so they should be fine.

Yeah. Nissan heads are renowned for having a lot of extra metal that can be removed. I've seen pics of a TD42 head cut into sections. I can't remember where I saw them but it showed both the intake and exhaust ports. From memory there was plenty of room above and below to profile the ports for a much straighter flow but there wasn't a heap of room to make them wider.
Dyno monsters die when worked hard in the real world. So don't stress the haters that keep wanting to see dyno sheets. It should produce a nice big fat usable torque curve. Do your homework and get the torque curve nice and flat. You'll be able to use it much better in all situations.
As for polishing the intake. Well I've always been taught that on boosted engines to do this as the flow is already turbulent enough and needs the smoothest, cleanest path to and from the head and that for N/A engines you don't polish the intake.
There are a lot of for and against for each but it basically comes down to your choice and the application you are using for.
