What is this event all about?? How many cars per team? Nom prices? Bit more info would be good as the video and Facebook page tell us nothing so far and it's only a fe months away. I am interested in this comp as its close to home

NOTE NEW DATE:- 9th - 11th August

Yes as Ben said 2 vehicles per Team.

Vehicles to comply to winch challenge rules etc XWC.

Rules and Event Information will be released Saturday night.

This is not a snatch strap pulling event, both vehicles must be equipped with winches and be prepared to use them.

Cheers

Hi Dave
I am new to your events, but I am a regular at the WTC and other CQ comps.
I have heard rumors that in your comps you require the vehicle, driver and navi to return to a fenced compound after each stage and remain there untill the next stage. Is this true?? If so what is the reasoning behind it?

Also if both vehicles have to winch how is this helping each other get around the stage "as at team" it's basically wiinch yourself to the top and wait for ya mate at the finish line, seems like the whole " team" idea is not there.

Any info would be appreciated

Cheers pickels

First up the CQXWC Teams Event is not mine (only 25% is).

As for rumors I would say that you should come to one of my event and check for your self rather then listen to what other people think happens. You will soon understand why I do things and I am quite sure that you wish that some of these things are done in the other events you compete in. Round 1 is in Feb at The Springs come and have a play or even a look for that mater.

XWC & the CQXWC Teams events will not allow other Teams that have not run to be on the SS while another Team is running, reason for this is; it is not fair on the Teams that are on the SS early. You will only get to walk the SS under our control if at all.

On most SS, you will be able to watch what is happening, from a distance.

The CQXWC SS will be set up in such a way that there is Team effort on each SS, not just drive and wait for your Team Vehicle.

It is very hard to give out information on each SS until it is set up. But that information and what is required on each SS will be given out at the briefing only.

All I can say as part of the CQXWC Team we will not be asking or allowing any Teams out to Seeonee Park to help us set up or have a drive on the SS before the event. There will be no pictures posted of what the SS look like until after the event.

By doing all the above keeps it fair for everyone, which means everyone is competing on the same playing field.

This is an event that you will find fair on all and enjoyable.

Hope that answers your question Pickels.

Hi just about finished setting up bank details.

So those that want to put their entry in will be able to do it very soon.

Support is looking very good for this event and speaking on behalf of the all the Team at CQ XWC - thank you.

It is amazing the calls we have had from spectators & competitors that they are looking forward to going back to Seeonee Park again.

Hoping to be up there from Friday 2th August.

Our Base during set up will be at Seeonee Park

It is great to see that the other partners took what the XWC has always done on-board, it saves the Teams at least $130 in fees for their spouses over the weekend.

Hi, due to all the great weather we have been having and the cancellation of Round 1 WTC (this weekend), CQ XWC has given up the weekend (12 - 14th April) of the Teams Event to WTC for their Round 1.

The new date for the CQ XWC is now 9th - 11th August
