awesome. looking tough.

The radius arms look great but may i ask why? tube radius arms have been attempted numerous times without very much success. although they have been as OE replacement on heavy GQ/GU.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks :)

I was going to get some front arms made from 25mm bisalloy plate, but the guy shut his business, also the weight of them was a bit of a turn off.
these are 38mmx 3.5mm rollcage tube, one grade down from chromoly,
light and i could make them myself for pretty cheap,
My other thought was an "i" beam style,

Still chipping away at her, have built the gearbox, manualised th400,
All bolted up to the adapter, waiting on a torque converter and it'll be ready to bolt up.

Sorry guys, Budget had the arse fall out of it, Done a few little things, ran all the brake lines, rear one goes thru the inside of the cab, stripped the engine wiring loom ready for the pcm, built the auto myself, full manualised th400, and assembled onto the transfer case ready to go in once I get the torque converter,

Is this still going ahead? Can I please get some more photos? I am currently planning my build, which will be similar but will be more crawler orientated with a 5l lux turbo diesel twin lockers and full ccda cage, and of course 35's.

Hey guys, my apologies for being a slackass here, some other priorities have taken my time the last 6 months.. :(
Anyway, have done some on her, stripped the engine loom, pulled out all unneccesary wires, had the Vats taken out of the pcm, plugged the bare loom up and gave it a test run to check the wiring, Started!! sweet :)
Fitted the gearbox with the new torque converter, will need to cut a notch out of the crossmember to allow for full down travel for the front tailshaft, changed the front and rear hard brake lines, so will now run 2 short braided lines front and rear, onto a cotrol arm and along to the diffs, saves haveing a 450mm single flexy line flappin around above the diffs. Picked up an ex v8 supercar PWR radiator, (friggin huge!) to mount, probly rear mount it,
Heres a vid of it starting :)
