Iron Man light bars

Apparently I can get a 20 Inch light bar for $230 which I think is reasonable. Has anyone got the Iron man light bars or knows if they're worth a pinch??

Not sure about ironman light bars, but I have a chinese version with 72 x 3 watt Cree LEDs. I ordered this one because the ebay man said it was a driving light/spot light, but when I got it it was all driving light. When I got it, the packet said "flood light".

I found this out after I had fitted it up, but it does the job brilliantly for what I want - driving through the mountains It lacks penetration, but splats light out EVERYWHERE. Typically it lights up from fence to fence and effectively up to 150 m in front. Having used this one, I doubt that it will be possible to get a decent LED spot light - the nature of the LED reflector is such that it would be hard to focus it to give a spot beam. For 80 to 100 km/hr driving through undulating country, this light does a good job. It makes my 100 Watt halogens look really yellow. They throw distance better than the LED, but the LED fills in the gap very effectively. Having said that, I'll probably go out tonight and clean up a roo or two...

Evan you make a good point as well. I also get people wanting their light bar to shine 5k down the road like a pencil beam spot light does. Which in my opinion is not where the danger/ important stuff is. And a pencil beam is almost never pointed where you want to see. I can comfortably see up to 1km away with my 20" light bar, which for me at least is perfect.

We've been having an ongoing discussion here as to whether it's worth us trying to bring in the better quality but more expensive lights. Alot of people don't understand how there can be such a difference in price.
So we got a sample order of a cheaper brand light, and I've literally just recieved now.
First thing I noticed is there is absolutely no lens over the led's. The better quality lights will have a convex or 'fish eye' lens over the led. Some even have varying focal points depending on if it's in the spot or flood section of the light bar.
Second thing I noticed is that the reflector patterns are the same angle all the way along, there's just some dimples on the outer few, and this is passed as 'duel beam'.
A better quality light will usually have a completely different reflector housing to truely achieve a spot and spread beam difference.
The housings though are pretty much identical to our other line.
But the light is all you get. No wiring harness/relay/switch etc, all of which has to be taken into account price wise.
How much difference this all add's up to I'll have to wait and see until I wire it up. But I have seen massive differences in the whitness, brightness and throw/distance between the cheap lights and good ones.
So for now we've decided to just keep selling the quality ones, albeit at a lesser rate then if we flogged the cheaper ones. But at least I avoid the phone calls from disapointed customers.

best value for money ones ive seen and used are from this seller http://stores.ebay.com.au/arncor-import ... 4340.l2563" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; they use a mix of spot and flood lenses/refectors across the bar.
all the guys I wheel with are now using these light bars, the quality is top knotch and they out perform lights twice the price.
