80series brake disks

Post by Redbeard8071 »

It's time to replace the discs on my 80. Will drilled and slotted disks make a difference to brake performance? What about pads? I've only ever used the Bendix 4WD pads. Is there a better pad to use to improve breaking performance? My 91 model cruiser doesn't exactly throw me from the seat when I brake.

Apparently drilled crack up a bit on 4wds. I run slotted and they do the job well.

Being an early model yours has the pissy brakes, best thing u could do is upgrade to later model rotors and calipers and 105 pads. U will love it then.
