Spring Dislocating Cone ?????

Does anyone know if the Terrafirma Spring Dislocator Cones work?
Are they worth buying?
Is there any other companies that make them?
I've got a 2" lift kit in ATM, and so if I was to fit some of these, how muck longer shocks can i go?
Any feed back good or bad, pro's -- con's would be apreciated.

Cones work.

They make the rear a bit unstable and throw the front to rear balance out, in terms of suspension performance. You're better off securing top and bottom. I have personally used dislocation cones - homemade - and liked how the rear flexed, but I also had Haultech Holy Bushes upfront to help the front flop about well.

It all depends on your spring and shock combo, if your shocks are too short then the springs wont dislocate so cones wont be of any benefit.
The front springs are already retained by the shock, but can still unseat from the spring perch on the chassis, there are some after market options for front cones.

I personally have preferred retaining my coils, but may be changing my mind soon, while I will still retain the rear springs I have now considered fitting even larger (softer rate) springs up front, that are long enough in their uncompressed length to not require any form of retention or dislocation.

If you want more flex, then you need holey bushes up front and longer shocks!

i can back both these boys up man.
ive got my rear end retained both ends of the coil and running the longest shock rancho make.
crazy stable both on and off road!
ive had relocation cones and yeah they worked, but the stability i gained retaining is hands down better option!

I was very pleased with my reverse dislocation cones with the spring secured at the top.
Easy to make surely (I traded to a QT weekender setup, I was delighted with it)
Much less noise and guaranteed pickup as the axle naturally meets the spring untensioned.
If I were to have a RRC again I would use the x-eng springs
