In the process of a rebuild on a 1986 Dual cab and have a SR5 4Runner of the same vintage for some parts.
Being the SR5 there are a lot of little nice things that were never available on the dual cab and one thing i keep looking at everytime i poke my head inside is the nice grey dash.
Is it feasible to do a dash swap? Or is it just a pain in the ###???
I've been doing some browsing around on here and although i've seen pictures of people with the dash's out none of them really say how much of a pain it was or if it was easy etc.. Just curious if its worth entertaining the idea or not??
Cheers Rob

Re: Gen 2 hilux dash swap
Its all just bolted in Rob, if your taking the dash out anyway, then why not fit the nice stuff.
