Lay,
I've thought about them too, had them on my old Suzi. Trouble is the difference between the spring and chassis widths. Its about 30-40mm. I then thought of using this width difference to my advantage, by making something like a set of Climax Shackles. But, I havent done any more about it.

There is a rocky (f70) goin round lake macquarie with then, looks good. Have been measureing up other cars shackles now, maybe find one type of vehicle that has similar shackles and people ave made longer shackles. Thanks for the help, any clue if the longer shackles will alter the pinion angle on the front diff too much. caster would be right as the inclination tilts back, but i wasnt sure how the oil float level and pinion angle on the front diff would be. I should be able to get plates bent too so the width problem should be able to overcome (climax have told me they can customise hilux drop shackles, but price was . and then have to modify shocks and re-wrap shocks)
