Post by scratched record »

Howdy

If a place a mobile phone antenna next to a UHF one ( on a bar) will there be any interference between the two?

Cheers

keep them at least 100mm apart. most i see are about 200mm apart.

Then there will only be interference when your transmitting on one or the other.

There are a couple of issues with having the antennas close together.

1. A nearby antenna, can casue high VSWR to your cb.

2. It can casue a poor radiation in the irection of the other antenna.

It can casue damage to the front end of the mobile.
