BODY LIFT FOR 98 IFS HILUX

HAS ANYONE OUT THERE DONE A 3 OR 4INCH BODY LIFT ON A LATE MODEL HILUX. IF SO WHAT NEEDED TO BE MODIFIED EG BRAKE LINES STEERIING BULLBARS RADIATOR ETC :idea:

4 inch would be impractical IMO, as you would loose the gear stick.
you would ahve to space the radiator down, extend brake lines etc. engine would sit low in the engine bay making it shit to service.

and anymore than 50mm body lift is illegal.

Unless engineered, right? I have 4 inch body lift in my hilux, engineered. Past by RTA?

U sure???

If you're on that path.. it would require a HUGE re-engineering job . relocation of nearly EVERYTHING to accommodate the body lift :?:

any mor than 50mm body lift - i think thats QLD only?? not sure about other states?????

just go 50mm, and u wont have 2 modify much at all
