A little on the light side for 10psi, every dyno is different though.

My last 80 series tow rig had 185 hp at the rears at 14psi. Was a real good thing to drive and still got 12 ltrs to the hundred around town and 15ltrs when towing. I put a dts turbo kit on it dts front mount kit 3inch exhaust no mufflers and a hottie diesel pump. oh and was on 285/75/16s.

Um when i did it all, it was at 215ks and sold it to my mate it had done 230ks and now i think its at 270 odd.when i first did it i slipped some big end bearings in while i had the sump off doing the turbo drain back pipe. Because i had heard they like hammering the bearings when you put some power through them. And you should do them every 100 000ks after that for cheap insurance. Did all the same setup on a mates truck after he had been in mine but he went 12psi and it didnt go quite as good and never got it dynoed but it feels around 155 to 165hp and it had done 340ks at fitment and has now done about 450ks and still no dramas.

Hey mate, I have a 75 series landcruiser with a 1HZ that has 170 horsepower. if you want horsepower do it the right way, get your head done and shaved to a 5 notch head gasket, at the moment I'm running 16 to 18 pound boost with almost my fuel screw winded almost into the injector pump, a lot of people will say 1 HZ's aren't a horsepower engine but if you do it the right way you won't have any problem......... But that's if your wanting to spend the big $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Dont spend too much money on the 1hz, this is a new engine and some shiny bits. Stock pump and 30psi easily.

Actual power figures are not known, all i do know is its a fair bit faster than my new Chipped 200kw VDJ v8 cruiser..

What on earth have they done to it?

My understanding was that throwing too much boost at an indirect-injected engine was riiiiiiiskay!
I fix Patrols all day. Then I get in my Cruiser and drive home.

Engine is stock with some shiny bits.

Boost is fine, egts are the killer.

I drive by the pyro pretty religiously, it can be a little average at times but for what it is its not bad.

Roger! So it's the same motor that's been thrashed and comp'd this whole time, pretty good innings if you ask me.

Yep, pretty lucky really. I think these 1hzs are underrated. For the money I've spent on it, pretty good really.

I agree lots go bang when turbo'd but there is a right way and a wrong way. I still think 5 years in a comp car is a good testament.

120rwkw on 36 inch tyres, 4.1 diff ratios and safe temps, with gt2876 and stock pump.
It would be a fair bit more with my 12mm compensated pump and a t3/t4 turbo.

Has anyone got any wheel power figures from a GTurbo? I've just fit one up and curious. If I end up getting it tuned I shall post up. Wouldn't a t3/4 be going a little Dubai on a 1hzzz? It wouldn't be very driveable I wouldn't think..

It actually spools heaps lower than the gt 2876. Much more driveable. I had a wicked flat spot on the garret, when it wasn't on boost.

The 75 guys complain about not having enough radiator area to cool them.

I know of a 100 series that made 220hp at the wheels, you'd think 150 would be ok.
