I finished 22nd for the weekend. New engine, auto and atlas was a learning curve but worked awesome!
Had front tail shaft issues on Friday and broken H260 axle between stages after finishing the bonus line on the All Terrian. Stoked!!
All Terrain was my stage and your drive was pretty sweet up the bonus line, very impressive for a big full bodied rig
Your drive off the exit of the stage how ever was  . Nice save though

Cheers mate. Any pics? Lol
We where so happy with that stage! Wonder if the doors open now? Lol
I've seen and heard a few stories of drives. Any idea how we placed?
Exit was good fun!! Lol no damage on stage, driving off we broke a 37spline H260 axle and bent the ram gaurd (25mm 4mm wall tube) :0
Nothing a manitu couldn't fix hey.

Another awesome Tuff truck run and won, and done.
Twon had a flop coming off the rock into a big hole first thing sat morning, as seen in the pic Jess posted up. Twons first roll in 6yrs of competing at TTC, and he was a bit shaken, but not hurt.
Pretzeled a driveshaft on the Dobbin night drive, snapped a rear axle on Heartbreak Ridge, Hydro steer was playing up, but we did get to run every track, even if we were the last car to run on sunday arvo.
A fairly average weekend for us, if you look at points tally, but the Soopernav busted his ass all weekend to keep Twon going, especially when he built the F3 to get him past the 10point marker on Rocky Horror late Sunday arvo, they were some giant holes there.
And it drove onto the truck for the drive home, so a good weekend.
Apart from running out of fuel on the Devils Marbles, hey Twon??

Highlights for me was seeing Bogan get to TTC just in time for the drivers briefing, then have a good weekend. Seeing him drive Mini Wirraba with his trademark style and grace  .
Seeing Team Barney drive Mini Wirraba.
Watching Benny drive Devils Marbles, and almost DNFing on the mud run, thank god he listened to the crowd yelling at him to stop.

Massive highlight for me was catching up with everyone I talk to on here, but only see once a year at the annual get together that is Tuff Truck.
Big thanks goes to Twon, Mark, Jess, Julie and Barry, and the rest of the Newy Crew for making Tuff Truck one of my favourite weekends of the year.

I do have some pics, mainly of the Megatwon, but have some of Barney, Bogan, I think theres some of Benny too.

I must say that Pete, Snr and Jnr and the whole TTC crew, have done a fantastic job this year.

Bring on 2014 TTC!!

Dudelux, if you have some picks of Team Barney it would be great to see them up.

We had a blast this year. We drove a few bonus lines and finished a few tracks. To finish 15th was only a wish in our little truck so very happy.

We found the organisation of the event the best yet and especially found all the track officials to be top blokes.

Not sure if we will be back as we will have to remake the cadge but if not then it was a good ending.

I was with team Blitz. He blew a big end bearing in the mud on friday. We started stripping the motor out while his missus went into town and got a $150 junkyard motor. We had it in and running by midday.
They had a heap of other unlucky issues as well over the weekend but just kept fixing it in any way they could.

Tuff Truck 2013

Post by Tuff Events »

Hi All, Thanks for a Fantastic Tuff Truck. We have only just returned to Sydney tonight. I will issues a post event statement within a few days.

There has been a Major Scoring Blunder at this years event. It was picked up on Monday. It was a very simple error and oversight. The related competitors & media were notified immediately. Now its for Public release.

Team Rock Rash Racing, Dave Camp & Hayden Smith are the Winners of the Tough Dog Tuff Truck Challenge 2013.

Team OPW move to 2nd Place. No other change is made inside the top ten places. Final Score Sheet will be posted up ASAP.

Sincere apologies go out to Team Rock Rash Racing for not getting their time to shine on stage at presentation. but at the same time, a huge congratulations. Well Done!

Also, we are deeply sorry to deliver the news to Tazz & Bug.

We are very sorry that such a simple error has created such a major result change like this one has.

For more info on this, please comment or email me. petera@tuffevents.com

Regards

TT Management.

The pointy end of the field was tight as - Well done guys. You are all worthy of the gong - but as they say "that's racing"!
