Converting trailer to 3.5t GVM (NSW)

So I have researched the gear I need and will order and fit soon . Has anyone fitted all the gear to convert a 2t trailer to 3.5t and how do you change with rta or whatever they are now?

If I was doning this I'd de-register the existing set up and re-register it as a new trailer, with a new VIN, at the rated tonnage you want.

To alter the existing rating would require an engineer's certificate.

Cheers mate, how do you get a new vin / plate etc? I got the trailer built, came with the current vin etc i just got a blue slip / weighbridge cert then
