VDJ7x exhaust

Post by Swag_Man »

Hey Team

So I flattened the pipe out wheeling today and would like to know what after market exhaust set ups people have on their VDJ 4.5l v8 lancruisers. Not that it matters I have a 76 series. Not to worried about the sound but would like a bit more grunt.

Current thinking is a Either a manta system or custom 3" dump pipe with 2.5" mantel bent system and a hi flow muffler.

cheers in advance.

I've got a 3" no muffler no cat manta system on my 76. I'm happy with it, all fitted well, sounds good.

Cheers Joshy

I'm waiting on a few quotes to see what supply vs fitted looks like as I only have a drive way to work on.

Cheers

That's all you need. Mate and I fitted it in about 30mins in my driveway. Didn't have to jack the car up or anything.

Beau desert is my choice. Twin 3" stainless and sounds sweet.

Taipan on mine happy with that ..as Joshy said easy to fit ...access dump pipe bolts through the plastic splash guard in the wheel arch with an open end ring spanner, tis easier than trying from underneath with a socket, swivel extension etc.
