Hi! Ive had a bit of a search and cant find anything allready spoken about so I thought I'd ask for some help. i have a 2.8 diesel engine already married to a automatic transmission (out of a 1992 Hiace van - trans code A45DL) that I'm thinking of putting into a 1985 4Runner. I'm worried about adapting the auto to the transfer case. Does anyone do an adapter or can I divorce the Hilux transfer and run a jack shaft? I'm assuming the Hiace auto is different from a surf? I found this on the net at inch drive but dont want to order something over from the states if its not going to be right for me.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated :-)
