Triton MK 3.0 Diff Sizes

Post by hugmeister »

Hi, Im in the UK but I have an imported Triton MK (2001) 3.0 V6 Auto - and its awesome by the way..

I'm trying to work out the diff sizes with the thought of adding diff lockers instead of the LSD and adding to the front also -

Does anyone know the size / diff type in mine or how I can tell by measuring / looking?

Any help would be great.

Here's a couple of pics

Im pretty sure that the ratio would be listed on the compliance plate on the fire wall, but that will just be the ratio, not an actual size, if you look up the arb website (http://www.arb.com.au" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) and go into the air locker section, there will be a list of whats at least got lockers made for it,

Is that any help?

Being the petrol, id put money on it being the same as the challenger, being a 4.636 ratio and the 9" diff (30.5mm shaft with 28 splines)

I think (but really am not 100% at all) that only the 9" had the 4.636 ratio? Someone else might be able to correct me. So if your compliance plate has a 4636 as the axle code, then it could be/might be/possibly be the 9" diff.

She looks sweet anyway, where was it imported from mate?
