Bobbed LWB Patrol

Post by dano80 »

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone remembers the build pics of a bobbed rear GQ patrol. Actually if my memory serves me correctly the same thing was done with the bonnet/front guards in the build!
I've spent a fair bit of time trolling the Nissan section and checked the useless search engine :-/

If anyone has any info or pics I'd love to see some.
thanks in advance,

Dano

Try Google images -" nissan patrol tray chopped " or similar search words

The bots would have probably picked it up and you might find it there

A little more info,

Pretty sure it was silver, a lwb wagon. And had the rear cut shorter and then the barn door rear was replaced only maybe 300 or 400mm shorter!

There was talk at the time of it going into sus stuff challenge

Thanks guys, Dano

Nah I don't think he put a thread on here about it. Maybe a few pics. What do you want to know about it?
Cheers

Just wanted to see where exactly the chop was done, fuel tank location, crossmembers, engineering, as I'm looking to building something similar, more pointed towards tough touring than comp truck tho.

Cheers Linc.

I'm guessing that the fuel tank is prolly mounted under drivers side floor between tailshaft and chassis rail?

And is prolly an aftermarket reserve tank like 70l Brown Davis?
