Loktup 4x4 swivel housing rebuild kit suit 80 series

Just grabbed myself another 80 ad the front swivel housing needs a rebuild, I have not seen one in this much of a mess for a while.

Has anyone used te loktup 4x4 kit with the bigger inner axle seals and such and is it worth the extra dollars over say a terrain tammer kit or similar,

I don't mind spending the money but don't like wasting it on stuff tht don't work like it should.

Yeah I did read that post mate, was hoping to get some more feedback or maybe recommendations on another kit.'think I will jut grab one and try it, not to much price diff when I factor in my time doing it once versus doing it twice.

The marlincrawler inner axle seal is tryed and tested and worth the extra money.

theyre $9ea USD from the states. or $50 a pair including postage from locktup.

But locktup show no stock of these seals (and have shown no stock for a long time)

I dont think that the rest of the kit is any better than a terrain tamer kit but you can only get the marlin seals if you buy the whole kit. (stock for the rebuild kits, but not for sale by themselves???. hmmm)

If i was you, I would only rebuild it with the marlin inner axle seals. Its a major pitta to have to redo it because the inner axle seal has failed again!.

I have a kit in box - maxi trac. $80+post and it's yours.
It has had some dew on the box from the 'humid shed affair' of last year - and the gaskets for the swivel hubs are sad, but the rest is perfect.
