Jack 8

Here's the machine in all its glory. Not sure how it would actually go offroad but sure looks good. Did anyone see it first hand when it was touring with the 4WD show?

This is a better pic...

And the link to Holdens' site including all the stats...

Jack 8 - POS?

Post by Westoztroopa »

Certainly wouldnt be lacking in power... but its obviously been set up more for racing.

Throw on some bigger tyres, lockers all round, higher ratio diffs and ditch the auto trans and it could be ok. IFS would always be the limiting factor though...

What a machine!!!! that new Jack 8 has got me pumped. Good to see Holden are going to continue the spirit even though Isuzu has some-what cut production and ideas to the market.

Does anyone know if it is going to the Brisbane Motor show??? if so i will have to make an appearance just to see it.

very impressed!!!

Probably when I finally lose whats left of my sanity...

Good to see you found it Randal. Now you just have to decide where your loyalties lie - Rangie, Daihatsu, Nissan. :finger:
