GU auto hubs on a Gq

Post by AFeral »

Picked up some some Gu auto hubs for my Gq ute. The ute is for work and light 4wd driving, i'm over getting out and ingaging the the hubs.
Do the hubs go on one side or the other ? If so how do you tell which one goes on which side ?
The manual hubs have circlip to locate the Cv in place is this still used if so how ?
Thanks Feral

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the GU auto hub wont fit a GQ - or at least mine did not ( onto a 92 GQ). Auto hubs will also need the axle spindle as there are 'teeth' around it that interact with the auto hub
