Hey everyone, am wondering what options are out there regarding increasing the braking capability of the Challenger...Ideally Id love to go larger rotors and calipers rather than just the slotted and drilled upgrade.
If anyone knows whats compatable between different models etc, Id love the help.
Id heard that the Evo calipers were a bolt up option but can confirm this is not the case (at least with the set I had brought in from Japland - and made a nice little profit reselling ) as the distance between the mounting bolts to the wheel assembly is different by around 40mm.

PA Challenger Caliper/Rotor Options

Re: PA Challenger Caliper/Rotor Options
Hi FIS, what size rotors are on your challenger at the moment? as there are 2 different sizes and you may have the smaller ones fitted.
Re: PA Challenger Caliper/Rotor Options
I wasnt aware that there were different sizes in the challengers...
Something else that changed from leaf to coils?
Mines an '01 coil suspension (if thats the deciding factor...)

Re: PA Challenger Caliper/Rotor Options
Hi Fis, I'm 99% sure 2002-2006 4wd MK triton twin pot brakes will fit your car, but you'll have to upgrade your rotor size from 270mm to 314mm from the same car to suit.
On a downside, 15" rims will no longer fit.
I think I have a spare set in the garage, but I think it'd be a fair walk for you to come try them.

Re: PA Challenger Caliper/Rotor Options
Was able to source a local set from a wrecker for $200 for the pair (some places were asking up to $200 EACH...)
Sourced new set of dimpled and slotted rotors and a set of pads to suit off ebay.....
The stopping abilities of the challenger are awesome now, you apply a bit of pressure and she pulls up nice and quick.
So now, does anyone know of a rear brake upgrade? just in the attempt to get the absolute best I can for her,
Im aware the triton runs the drum rear brakes so that's not at option at all
