coilover spring rates
hi just had a 3 link put into the front of my solid axle hilux along with 10 inch travel coilovers. the coilovers I bought where secondhand and but in good condition but seem to be a bit stiff in the front of the lux. just wanted to know if anyone has done a similar conversion and what spring rates they are running? I don't want it to be a super slinky with heaps of body roll but still want good articulation.
Re: coilover spring rates
Valuving will affect it too.
What works for some one else won't work for you, base point only. You need too set them up for your car, weight, setup, ect

Best way is to get your rig weighed on corner scales

Re: coilover spring rates
Yep as Evan said, weight at each corner.
Even better if you know sprung and unsprung weight, but that might be getting a bit technical if your car is already built

Re: coilover spring rates
Just shoot into any half decent mechanic with a plateTronic setup and weigh the front end, weigh the diff n wheels then give eibach a call.......
You will get asked a lot of questions but it wont take long to do.
End result is good but the valving is the icing.
