To all competitors .....

We have posted up our scritineering checklist we will be working off at TOPERI , on our clubs website

http://www.canobolas4wd.com/competitor-info/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It is in YOUR best interest to go & check it out & pass it on to team mates etc

You can check your vehicles off against our list to make sure you have everything sorted BEFORE you get here

To try to make things work smoother for us , we are going to place a fine , to any team that turns up to scrutineering , not complying to our checklist , the fine will go into our usual MOvember charity fundraising kitty.

The only exemption is that the vehicle can turn up to scrutineering with either the driver OR navi , then the other person can turn up later to have his licence / CCDA checked off, if he is not on site when the vehicle is being checked off

Two car teams as per prevous years. We will be reverting back to a dnf time as per Tuff Truck with maxium points deciding the winner. If there is a draw for a place ei 1st -5th the tying teams will golden point for the position. One truck from each of the tied teams will start track 4. The winner will be the truck getting further along the course with no penalties.
where are the rules. as on the website it still says 6 stops allowed on each course. And when we had dnf times. If we stopped we only wasted our own time

I'll get the web pages updated but as per all the other years except for 2012 the tuff truck style format is what the dept of sport and rec have excepted and that is how our comp and probably all comps will have to be run in the furture.
The dnf time for toperi is 9 min minus any penalty times for rear steer etc

Yep thats what I thought, just wanted to see the rules as in some previous stages (past toperies) it was free winching , with no penalties but had to work hard to save time.
Looking forward to this event again. Steve

Hey i drove out of it dusty.

The tracks are fantastic, we spent Sunday fine tuning some sections.
We think we have come up with a great set of rules for this year that will keep all competitors happy, we have even given everyone an extra minute on stage 4.
We drove all tracks on Sunday with mine and Glenn's hilux on 37's, some parts were a little bit more of a struggle on 37's, but that's why you have the full 9 minutes to drive a stage, as many stops and reverses as you like.
Weather is looking better and better every day, its going to be an awesome weekend.
Those teams that aren't in the top 10 will draw their own start positions out of a box at scrutineering.
See you all on the weekend.
