Bundera Gearbox Help Please

Post by jake.gilly »

Hey first time post,
I am currently doing a v6 conversion into my bundera, long story short I brought a surf with the conversion already installed and was going to swap it straight into my bundera.
Turns out when it was imported (the Surf) they put the wrong identification plates on it and listed it with a w56 gearbox that is the same as my bundera g52 and would've been a bolt on.
Turns out the surf had a R151 gearbox ad now the bellhousing adaptor is oviously not going to fit onto my bundera g52 box.

My question is can I bolt a r151 gearbox to my bundera transfer case like the turbo bunderas run so I can use my bellhousing adaptor or are the transfer cases different from the turbo bundera and the petrol bundera.
Please any help is appreciated otherwise will have to fork out 1020 bucks for a new bellhousing adaptor and Id rather have the stronger gearbox installed for ovious reasons

Thanks Jake

The petrol Bundera had the g52 gearbox and the diesel turbo had the r151
I am pretty sure they use the same transfer case but might of had different input shafts and adapters due to the different gearboxes.

Thanks for the reply I have decided to stick with the g52 as they are a dime a dozen if I blow them up haha
