just fitted a kaymar rear bar but the factory leaves couldn't handle it so ive now put 450kg ones in the back, will hopefully settle down to level again.

with 35s on the rear bar (but not the car was just making sure they fit as ARB said they wouldn't!)

sorry for the hijack.
not hi-jacking at all, clean looking rig you got. cheers for that. You own the toy I take it? Seen it compete at TT and it goes hard.

How do you rate the 35's on stock ratio?

Thanks, yea was my toy. On road the ratio is fine, more noticeable towing but still better then my 4.2 patrol previous.
Offroad it's more noticeable but still acceptable, the low down torque while good doesn't match up to the patrol, stalls much easier.

Thats one thing I have noticed with the v8's is that they lack low down torque, they need 1800-2000rpm on board even with 3'' exhaust and chip. Up to 2000rpm my 13BT (4cyl 70 series turbo) eats my dads VDJ79, similar for 6cyl cruisers they also have stronger off idle torque, which is to be expected for a inline engine vs a V8.

You need 33's at least for highway use, the gearing is way low. It could easily do with a 6th speed on 33's. Does 2300-2400rpm on the highway which is crazy. 4cly Iveco does half that!
