hj45 Question!!

Post by _Mitcho_ »

hey guys

Im chasing a chassis for my 1979 hj45 landcruiser. i have found a chassis but its a 1978 and i know the floor is different and the fuel tank in under the seat in that model but will my 1979 cab go on the chassis? like is there any difference in the chassis between the tank inside the cab and the tank outside the cab?
If someone can shed some light on this it would be great!

Thanks Mitch

Cut The mounts off the late chassis and weld or bolt them onto the early one , or just make some new brackets to mount it

Hey mate you can get around he body mount issue easy enough, but a bigger issue is the cross member in the early chassis is in the way of the underbody fuel tank (later model)
