Autometer pyro guage
Hi all can any one help me why my pyro guage needle has started to flutter up and down.It started to happen last week on Fraser when the Pootrol was getting a hard workout on high tide.Is it the sender or the guage as they are ShortyIQ $$$ to replace and its not that old.Cheers
Re: Autometer pyro guage
I had the same problem a few months ago. I tried every which way test wire it, paid an auto sparky to look at it and even took it back to get it tested. After pulling my hair and the pyro out I eventually found it was an earth which I had originally questioned. Believe me when I say this, it's probably an earth. I don't care if you replaced the terminals last week and everything else works, Check em. Battery connections, earth to the body, pull em apart and give them all a good clean, no corrosion and certainly not paint, no loose lugs etc. Anywhere.
Good luck.
Good luck.
Dave
