It looks like its up but won't live stream for me because of this horrendously slow net speed. Its almost like dial up.

I don't think it's based on anything ;) however it does have some tiny bits of Jeep panel attached to it
And there is probably a tiny bit of chassis rail in there somewhere :finger:

Pips rig looks more like a jeep than some of the other rigs there are suppose to be. As a fellow competitor it's awesome to see people out there willing to push the rules to the limits like Pip has. It's just makes me want to lift my game even more. Credit where it's due fellas if it didn't comply he wouldn't have been competing.

It was rumoured the overkill rig weighed in around 1 tonne with the cromoly cage just weighing 26kg.

no you couldn't watch every track from memory it was Mini Wiriaba, Frame Twister, Devils Marbles and i think Rocky Horror. I liked that you could select the video quality from HD(720) to 480 and reduce the amount of data the video feed used.

Engine problems on Thursday night - Couldnt start. Changed plugs and all OK just in time for scrutineering. Wouldnt start again during scrutineering, so we had to call it then. Fuel in the oil when we dumped the oil, so not a good sign.

We have a 5000i to put in it, will get around to that when the motivation returns.

Was a great weekend once we'd come to terms with being out. We learnt a lot about preparation and bringing a full support team.

Pips rig is amazing. It obviously performs well, but it is also a factory team quality build up close. i think this year really stepped it up with the quality and ability of the rigs, and tracks.

Such a great event as always thanks to Pete, Priceys and their team.

I'm with Johnsey (first time for everything). Myself being one of the scrutineers & knowing Pip & Tim well, I got the heads up from Pip that he was going to use the rules to his advantage. He had a crapload if paperwork for me when he rocked up & like he said to me, don't look for 51% or 81% because it ain't there.

I love it when people actually read the rules and exploit them for what there worth. Good on Pip. If you couldn't tell what that car was based on go get your eyes checked.
There were a lot less capable cars that a lot of punters would struggle to recognise.

Can you shed some light on how the rules were interpreted in a language for the average punter? Or is that an advantage they aren't willing to share? Which I understand.
