My 240's have served me well for 7+ years but I would like to upgrade them to HID. What kits are people putting in them? I'm after the most straight forward conversion of 75W and above.
Cheers

Go here for instructions. (below - see link)
But I dont have any adapters. Have sold out.
Grab a 120 watt H3 HID kit. Drill out the adapters with a 19mm drill bit and silicon the bulbs in. Job done.

Are you getting more adapters? Any specific kits you recommend?

Re: Lightforce 240 HID conversion
Jimbo, FWIW.....
I had 55w, then 100W hid kits in my XGT's on the GU.
Having had both, Id go the 55w.
Whilst more wattage may sound better, in reality the usable light distance and spread is really not much different.... and I did notice that with the 100W kit, as the lights was more intense (same color render though) when you did turn them off, you were almost night blind for a few seconds till your eyes adjusted.
In tighter terrain (ie windy country roads) they were next to useless, due to light reflected off embankments etc. LEDs with a broad spread in those conditions are 1000% better.

My friends aren't holding me back..... I'm pulling 'em forward.
Re: Lightforce 240 HID conversion
I have though about getting rid of the 240's and getting a small light bar. What LED's do you use?
