Hi

This is a pic of my first Daihatsu having owned Land Rovers and Zooks for many years.

Bought it End of Feb 04 and so far so good.

Its a 1.6 ELXi from 1993 in Taft Green Metalic.

Only thing i have done so far is to change the tyres to Mud Terrain and colour code the door handles.

Regards

Hi,

I'm from Austria in Europe and we (5 guys) are offroading all the time.
Our homepage (http://www.uahhh.org) - where I'm the webmaster - is unfortunately in GERMAN... So if you are visiting us you'll not be able to read all the tech stuff, storys,... but you'll see a lot of pics.

Currently I own am Suki 413 with a lot of mods and a Mitsubishi Pajero (Montero) which is lightly modified. With this car we reserved seat 7 at the "Warn expedition Trophy" in Croatia last year!

Next week my Buddy ("hurschtl") and I ("haasa") are going to exchange our cars. He will get my Pajero and I will get the Feroza which is build 91 and has no mods so far.

I'm happy that I found this board forum because I'm planing to mod the Feroza next weeks (Bodylift, Suspensionlift, Winch, ...). Unfortunately there is no offroad forum in europe for "genuinly" offroaders.

Best wishes from Austria!

Haasa

Heya man , well , im still working on it , about the steering , i started from scratch , now it runs Hi-Steer with a heavly lifted panhard (but still // to the axle) .. keeping caster angle of the D44..

i had to REMAKE the pitman arm , i've drafts of all that... if someone needs it , it had 21 cm of drop... just to insure that everything runs // to the axle.

Currently im playing with the QE spring rate to accomodate the best option , (if i can find it anyway) ...

More to mention , i've been using my legs as primary locomotive method for around 3 months :P , this has been a REAL PITA.

The V6 runs smooth and very very good.. i used the AC compresor for onboard air...

hmpf... Im 1.86 mt's tall , the capot is about 1.60 mt from the ground.

Greetings!

G-day all. my name is Ofer and i'm from Israel.
Israel is a small place... so we have one main forum at jeeptrip.com
if you want to visit just make sure you know hebrew... :) .
Israels D.M.V/ policy is strict & limiting in letting us make any changes with our cars so:
I just changed my tyres to 235/75/15 goodyear mtr's with great effort legaly body lifted by 2'' and wound up front torsion bar to match.
my car is a 93 feroza f300 el, and in Israel you can count rocky's on one hand (from 85 model) and Feroza's with two.
Parts are very expensive and hard to find.

Hi All!

I am Lukas from Wroclaw, Poland driving 1991 Feroza EL II. I bought it four weeks ago. The car is great besides of the fact, that my engine recently died:)

Well...i had to replace it and currently i try to get some knowledge about swapping with the Applause engine but it seems i'll handle that (i will surely inform everyone here if my Feroza will be running :)

Anyway i don't have any off-road equipment here but i've got nice bullbars :D and what may interest someone, i have an LPG fuel installed (see the pics below). Unfortunately, there is almost no place left on the back but it's very cheap and ecological now ;)

Greetings! This site is really great!

Hey fellas,

I'm Zul, from Singapore, but will be in Perth the next coupla years.

I have a '96 SXII which i picked up stock ( with original Daihatsu/Panasonic tape deck!) a few months back. My first love is mountain biking but after being to the bike trails around Perth, i realise they're pretty much beside alot of 4WD tracks, so why not kill two hobbies with one stone eh?

only have 2 minor mods to date,

1. Genie extractors, 2" exhaust and muffler
2. Unifilter foam air filter

and only wish for a few more stuff,

*new shocks all round
*bullbar and spotties
*slightly bigger/more aggressive rubber

I guess this is pretty much all i need for the kinda driving i do. Some of you guys have mad, awesome Ferozas. Nice work.

Nice to stumble on this site with its Daihatsu corner. So much Feroza/Rocky love going around. :P

Hope to see some of you other Perth chaps around soon~

hello, my name is John and i have been a proud Feroza SX11 owner for a few months now. i have been forwarded here by murcod.

when i bought it, it had 31" tyres and a lift kit already installed (and i have put it all to use many times already). haha
i love camping as that's what i did with my family when i was growing up on a farm in southern WA. now i have the feroza i am out camping every second w/end doing extreme 4wding through the sand pits and beach tracks. oh, and some fishing too.
i'll link to my car domain site for some pics of it.
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/657917

ok, so far the only mods are the lift kit and KYB shocks all round, 31x10.5x15" tyres, r/cassette.

coming soon will be forced induction on the current HD-E engine (i want to supercharge it, but a turbo will be much easier for me to put on) and in the future a full engine conversion to hopefully a 4agze supercharged Toyota engine (my all time favourite engine).
i am also considering locking the front diff once i do a little more reading in the FAQ about it.
pics, dribble, turbo conversion.... click here.

Greetings,

My name is Jahsen and I own a 1994 Diahatsu Feroza F300 SE RHD (we drive on the left in Jamaica). The vehicle is very stock though I've had her for almost 2 years.

I'm not auto-savvy like many of you and don't understand any of the lifts & modis listed. Though I'd love to. I'm trying to keep the 4x4 in good running condition, difficult in Jamaica.

More difficult is the fact that no body knows jack about these vehicles here so I hope to get some help from this great forum.

The vehicle is a bit beatup but I just love the little b---- :D. She just doesn't know when to quit and so far no one can convince me to part with it.

I'll send a pic of my humble little 4x4 after I get around to cleaning it (just so you can actually see it!).

JAH
