Anyone have any 1st hand info on this inlet manifold

Post by Cokeaddict »

Have been eyeing this manifold as a nice addition to my turboed GQ TD42 but would like some facts from those who know before getting ripped again.
Anyone have any factual info on this thing, sure looks good. They claim to increase flow by 50% and also increase torgue (no figures shown on website)
The best part is it is ready for water 2 air setup which always helps. From what I can tell, the best improvements are from 50Kms to around 110 Kms which is perfect, especially down low where it will be most effective.

No first hand info. Was talked about on patrol4x4 forum a fair bit and not much positive was said about it. Have you had a look at the ARE website, lot of R&R plus facts and figure to suport their product. Radius fab make inlet manifolds too.
Anything is possible, it just comes down to time and money.

i put a cross country intake on my ute, unfortunately i'm still coming out off the build up stage so going from a n/a td42 to one with a high mount, i/c and new intake manifold, i can't give any clear answers if it helps or not. i'm just super happy with the overall result.

I hear ya Lepa.
Glad your happy with the outcome mate.
I am going to sit this one on the fence for a bit until I decide weather I will up the boost on my patrol or not. But from what I have read, I can modify a std manifold myself that 50 mm it needs. So for now, I have other things to experiment with.
