Superflex Hybrid Long Arms questions

Post by Overit »

G'day all,

So what's the go with these arms? Do they push the diff forward 20mm or more to be able to run bigger tyres (35"s at least) without having to chop/panel beat the guards? Do they bind up against the shocks on full flex (mind you I was running big bore adjustable tough dogs...) with 11" (? They were the biggest pin-pin shocks tough dog made at the time) shock travel? I've had to grind out a little "cutout" with my original 5" super flex drop arms where they were hitting the shocks so they don't hit anymore, not a big deal but still a mod that needed to be done to get the most out of the setup. Have they changed this though OR done the "cutout" where the shocks bind on the arms?

I am keen to get a set but want to know if they have made these adjustments in the designs.

Thanks for the info!

yes they are the same distance forward as a normal superior arm! which is proportionate to lift height and IS more than stock. Will they let you fit 37's on a 3" lift without cutting your guards - no. Can you file a bit out of the holes and put in a small spacer to get more - yes. do they hang down 2" less than than buds - yes. They are designed for 99% of the users, that have adjustable panhards and diff guards and like there springs to sit without bowing badly.

Been a while since I wondered in here :D

I spose they are also designed so the bush does NOT fit with out attacking a set of $1400 arms with a grinder, or sway bar holes lining up, and I spose the lying toads on the end of the phone taking the orders are just a free upgrade......yeah Superior is GREAT......

Yes I am pissed at Superior, yes I have rung them, yes I got fuck all response, yes I will tell others about my experience if asked, no I won't be buying Superior again :bad-words:
