Help, '93 RRC electrical issues.

Post by midnight »

Hey guys, so I have just bought my 3rd RRC (after saying Id never buy another one after i got rid of the last one), and its got a few nice features. However, it also has some problems.
1 issue Im having is the battery light is faintly on, and the 2nd battery is flat, and the tacho is lazy (it only goes to about 2,000rpm). After a bit of research, my issues seem to revolve around the alternator. Now I dont have a manual (yet, it went with the last car), so is anyone on here clued up with wiring and stuff on these?

Quick run down of what I got for $1,200.
93 RRC Vogue.
Aspen Silver.
Chocolate brown leather seats.
3.9L.
4spd auto.
2" lift (to be fitted).
ARB winch bar.
Some brand bash plate.
Aftermarket front recovery points.
Aftermarket rear bar with swing away tyre carrier.
Redarc dual battery kit.
Dual batteries.
LPG.
UHF.
Spotties.
Oil leaks.
33" wheels and 7.50xR16 wheels.
And it has adjustable lower trailing arms.

Is there any way it can get wired incorrectly as it appears to be a new alternator.
