Well I finaly did it. I have had my us rocky for around 4 years now and I have been realy carefull picking my lines and never biteing off more then I can chew but I finaly got carried away and stuck it. The normal entrance to the place I usaly go mud riding in was shut down so I have been asking around and found an alternate entrance. I was told that my rocky wasnt built enough to make it and I guess I should have listend but........what fun is that. I started down the trail and didnt make it 100ft before I got Stuck. I picked the wrong line, made the newbie mistake of trying the mud on the side of the main hole instead of just taking the center were it had already been wore down to hard clay. Well I guess you cant say that you have pushed your limits until you can say you got stuck. Well You Live you Learn. Just Thought I would tell everyone that the Rockys in the US were Seeing some action. Latter
If I wanted to Play it safe I would Have Stayed at home
Im careful not to get stuck becouse I dont have anyone to ride with. It realy sucks to get stuck in BFE and not have anyone to give a pull. There is some nice 4bys in town but I have seen them atually Armeralling Their Shocks. For some reason every body is into show trucks and not getting out and getting things dirty

Moral of the story, never break the golden rule of offroading- go in groups.
Got myself not once but twice stuck in situations that is pretty easy to recover. But how do u go about it if u have a winch but not a mounting point? Ever since learned my lesson, always go with atleast another car.

Use a sand anchor , bury your spare wheel or get your mate to push bloody harder

No shovel,
no ground anchor,
bare hands,
and all alone in the middle of no where with no radio or mobile contacts,
running slick Bridgestone Dueler A/T.
add it all up it becomes a recipee for disaster.
If i've got mates in the rocky doubt they can push a 1.8 tonne Rocky.
So i had to walk a good kilometer and wait at the main road.
Thankfully bump into a landcrusier and i've found my winching point.

good to hear ur enjoying the mud running tho 
if ya get urself some decent recovery gear it's alright tho, cos ya can get urself out.
