Almost Finished......4 months later!
Almost Finished......4 months later!
The build is coming to an end for now.....
The truck has been resprayed black. Engine has been completely rebuilt with some goodies.
Suspension has been beefed up with new shocks, extended front shackles (3inch), Climax Rears. 2 inch body lift. Shock towers increased 220mm.
The electrical and interior will happen over the next few weeks, along with the new cage, lighting and soft top etc.
Heres some semi-recent pics, prior to the extensions and Climax Hangers.
Cheers

well maybe i need to enrole in the redzook school of how to modify and drive an offroad vehicle. Seems you know everything there is to know about the subject.
I build my rigs to suit myself & my driving habits, i can appreciate negative critacism to a point, however, the truck is still on 4 wheels and only time will tell if the height will be a negative factor, until then......hmmmm we'll just have to wait and see.
Maybe i have plans for other ways o-f compensating for the extra height, you never know.

looks good
doesn't look that high . spoa plus 2" body lift is pretty standard (in my veiw ) plus three inch extended shackles is only another 1.5" mines the same but with out the ext shackles but has 2" springs(now pretty flat) and its a narrow track only flopped it once , but i guess i drive different terrain than others (supposedly) , (but putting my lux diffs in after tax) . you coming to berridale ?

Did some more on the front shock towers on Saturday, They're extended by 220mm, they now extend through the inner guard and into the engine bay.
The Flex situation seems to work on the hoist. Will find out next week in the dirt @ Hillsborough Quarry.
