err, I think he means a toyota 13B-T which is a 3.4 litre inline 4 cylinder turbo diesel, as apposed to the 13B turbo you're thinking about (1.3 litre twin rotor mazda wankel engine)
I'm pretty sure they have a crankcase breather off the rocker cover which is plumbed into the inlet air duct between the air filter and the turbo inlet so any blowby vapors get sucked up and burned with the fuel.
the oldschool 3B's have a blowby pipe which is on the side of the motor pointing down.
cheers

Yeah thats right I forgot about the rotary 13bt
here's a few pics of the one i made. I used some spare pieces of heater pipe and clamps after i had removed the heater from my car. Drill a hole in the transfer pipe from the air cleaner to the air intake for the engine and silver solder some of the brass heater pipe in. Angle it in the right direction. Cut off the excess length of the crankcase breather tube coming off the engine to shorten it. Then use the pieces of rubber heater hose and one of the 90degree bends to conect it all up. And use the heater clamps too. All this is free if you have already pulled your heater out and kept all the bits. Otherwise just buy some rubber hose the correct size and a few hose clamps.
mixup
can't help it, my other toy is a rotary, fun, fun, fun.

What!? drop in a V8 and give it a 90/10 wieght distribution instead of the near perfect 51/49 they come with .... and give it a reliable engine??
That’s sacrilegious! Let’s not speak of this again…
plus it isnt mine anymore.. i sold it
ow sorry i did miss ur point
no rotaries do have oil rings.. the 2 rings either side of each rotor..
the rotors are oil cooled and the oil rings let the oil on the side of the rotor and stop it from going into the combustion chambers..
the side seals also help this but there not as good
but when ur oil rings and side seals start to diminish then u start getting excesive oil use as oil leaks from the side of the rotor into the combustion chamber..
its a slow death for a rotor... eventually it will get bad enuf that u wont have enuf compression..
