Great weekend!!!

The Man made Rock Course produced some excelent driving!

The Highlight for me was FINALLY getting to drive the JEKYL!!! All i can say is that this thing is farking awesome fun to wheel!

The next best thing was pushing LOCKY (Lockless Monster) of the Rock pile and rolling it onto its roof!

I have a few action shots that bec took but the batteries have gone flat!

Here are the scores of each stage and overall results!

Yes very happy with the first RUN!!!!

Before the first stage i had a total of 2 minutes seat time! I was a little concerned that things could break or fall off. But after the first stage it was all sweet!

Awesome fun to drive!

We (Me, Ruff, Sam, Mick Garner, BJ, Rod Dirte, Beebee) were only up there to compete in the Rock Crawling event!

We did however do a few exhibition laps around the Mud Pursuit track which was a bit of fun!

Well what a busy weekend!

Had a great time on saturday. After a great run on the first stage, we broke 2 cvs on the final gate of the 2nd stage - bugger! As I had to be in Brisbane on Sunday for a wedding, I left Greg (1madengineer) who is usually my spotter to drive for me. I thought I'd left the hilux in good hands until I learnt about his double flops - damn learner drivers in unfamiliar rigs :finger:

Hopefully the crowd was impressed. It doesn't take much encouragement for the outerlimits guys to put on a show :D

Anyone know what happened to the red hilux that crashed on the main road heading to the camping ground (just near the start of telecom hill)? Also there was a old nissan ute parked at the office which had rolled, I hope the driver was allright as the roof was crushed in right down to the steering wheel.

rumour about teh red hilux was it was going going to fast into the corner, lost sideways and rolled. The female passenger was thrown from the vehicle, adn got pretty messed up.

Lots of that type of behaviour going on, its a shame to watch..... :?

Never ceases to amaze me - 'oh, we were just looking for a quiet place to do some bible study, when samuel's vehicle rolled unexpectedly, no he hadn't had any holy wine, he always abstains from wine with his communion...'

Normal road rules apply in the park, and that includes seat belts, speed and

I've seen it before in the park, night runs with drivers so tanked, one fell out of his door when he opened it, then proceeded to urinate on the side of his car, but misjudged the distance and relieved himself all over his seat and floor; rollovers involving high speed, deflated tyres, a corner, and a driver that maintained he wasn't drunk, yet his demeanor would suggest otherwise...heaps more stories with similar causes and outcomes...

It's sad about the lady's injuries, but everyone is responsible for their actions, the minute they set foot on the property, be they driver or passenger.

totally agree Troy.

I was actually considering sending Alben / The park an email detailing a few concerns. With events like these, I think you need a police presence, just to limit this type of behaviour and unfortunate events occurring.

and to the f***wits who camped next to us, who actually unbolted and removed the exhaust system from their HIlux, and kept us awake all night, you remind me of Grimace cousins experimenting with themselves.

We were told by Alben that there were 6 police somewhere on the property, I never saw one!!!
I did see plenty of w@ankers driving like there was no tomorrow, one was the bloke in the winch challenge blue and red 75 series (100 series chasis) who drove me off the road as he flew around the corner going up to the house.

Last i heard the lady in the hilux was airlifted to RBH and is in a critical condition - we saw a 80 series roll on jims jump up with his wife and two young kids in the vehicle all were ok, also there was a report of a brand new gu ute that burnt to the ground in diaper creek test track

There was a police precence there, they were mainly testing for DD.

We spoke to Alben at the end and he said that at the next EXPO and Mud Bulls he has requested that the POLICE patrol the park and slap fines on any d!ckhead doing the wrong thing!!!

Hopefully this should stop things!!!!

Anyway back to the good stuff!!!
