lifted suspension

Post by coke »

I have a mate who is removing a 6" lift from his series 2 GU and I was wondering if it will bolt into my 1990 GQ wagon.

It is complete with castor, panhards, shocks and springs, but needs brake lines. Anyone comment as to weather there will be complications with this?

It'll all bolt up except for the panhards. - check on that one as ive heard that the GQ right up to the GU series 1 panhards are compatible with each other.

Other than that, my GQ has the springs and everything out of a series 1 GU.

Perhaps others in here can tell u whether the series 2 are different at all????

panhard bushes are bigger. you can cut and shut the mounts to suit easy enough.
