who said you can't use it. anything can happen, a new class perhaps.

maximum 37" tyres , maxiumum crawl of say 60-1, maximum engine size 3 ltr and so on

gives the guy with a small budget a go.

I'd love to have a go at that myself, but the problem is justifying building it. If you can come up with a class to suit, then i'm interested.

It is possible my new truck will owe me in parts only about $10 000
Although I will confess I got some pretty good bargains. The only things not included in the $10000 is lockers.

Base truck FREE
Engine gearbox transfer rear diff front diff $600
Dana front knuckles and axles $ 500
Mods to front diff $800
Steel $1000
Rockhopper $1500
Tyres $1600
Hyro setup $1100
Sheet metal work $500
Fuel tank FREE
Shocks Re used old ones.
Fittings $1000
Power ssteer pump $50
Wiring $350

Labour Priceless so for about 100 hrs.

Thats what it has cost me people may get some stuff cheaper or more expensive as I said in the beginning I did get a few bargains.
Some stuuf was sourced from my old Zook which I havn't added.
