Alloy Size ?
Hello
Was thinkin of getting 10" Over arches for my Sporty, from Formula 4x4
What would be a good Alloy Rim size for them. I was thinking
15 x 7 or 8 with 235x75x15 Perrille Scorpion A/T Tyres
The arches are arround £100+ Not bad I guess
Hope you are all keeping well
Colin...........................
Why do I keep Signing this when my name is at the bottom..
Like the arches on the Feroza's in the Sticky Section.......

Colin.
I take it you mean wheel arches similar to the Wide Track version of the Sportrak / Feroza
Are you sure they fit on the narrow track or do you need to drill holes in the existing guards ??
I know the wide track Feroza has a round wheel arch in the rear (a 36" tyre fits snugly into this space) I thought the narrow track didn't have a 'bolt-on' flared guard at the front or the rear.
It seems to me that £100+ (i take it that price is for one of them) or £400 seems like a lot of money which I'm sure could be better spent on other accessories for your Sportrak !
You should be able to easily fit 30" tyres without too much problems, 31" or 32" tyres with a body lift and suspension lift.
What are Irelands rules on tyres sticking outside of the guards ?? Do the Police 'crack down' on modified 4By's ????
If they do, then you should be able to get different flares (read cheaper) to cover the wheels outside the guards.
Anyway, if you have the money, spend it on a suspension upgrade and/or a body lift to fit the bigger tyres.
Cheers

Hello
Yes Ferozius I have 235x75x15 on the standard rim at the moment
Wanted to keep those tyres and put them on a set of new Alloys
Thinking 15" x 7" or 8"
Besty the Over arches are £100+ for all Four
The Alloys I'm after are £270 For all four
Not sure about Wide or Narrow track, Hmmm What have I. Does mine look wide or narrow to you guys. Look Left.........
The Police don't like the tyres to stick out past the body work here either
Although you can do pretty much what you want as long as its legal.
Have a Pic of the alloys somewhere. Really just want to make it look good for now and do suspension lift and stuff at a later date.
Cheers...............

Ferozius,
My narrow track '92 ELIII has got the bolt on flares front and rear- see below, they just aren't as pronounced as the wide track versions.
Looking at the pic of Colin's Sportrak, his doesn't appear to have the rear flares???
Maybe his is the equivalent of the DX version over here? Here are a couple of pics of an '89 DX and it doesn't appear to have bolt on flares front or rear!
And here's another '92 ELIII like mine, which has the rear ones again:
Colin- maybe the rear flares like on mine would do the job?? They should be easy to fit.
