Killalux,
I will be there as will be Starkers and Bret & Glen Grindrod from CORE 4x4. I think BJ is going too. Troy who filmed the XRCC Round Zero will be there to do some video for his next one in the series.
The Invaders from the Planet KONE have promissed to attend also.

Big Red,
The session will commence with rules, scrutineering and vehicle preparation discussion at the Trakka Terrace campground, commencing 1pm Saturday.
The purpose of the session is to explain the XRCC requirements for vehicles and competitors, answer questions and give support to those who would like to enter the series.
* The session is intended for everyone, regardles of experience.

XRCC PRACTICE DAY
Hi again, just a few things for this weekend. Saturday 1300 hrs (1pm) or before (depends on what time I arrive, have to go out Friday night) lets get together & have a look at vehicles and have a bit of talk on rules, I know you will have a million questions on what is going to happen at Round 1 & if time premits lets go and have a look at what your vehicles are ready for. Saturday night a few cold ones around camp, if you want. Sunday, set up course & test the rules.
Hope to see you at TRAKKA TERRACE on Saturday.
Regards MMM

We came up for the first event and it was great to see all those vehicles competing on the rocks but i have some questions about the future events.
How much will it cost for this weekend?
Are competitors getting a reduced entry price into the park?
Are we going to be able to bring unregistered Outlaw class vehicles up this weekend?
And how are we going to drive these vehicles around on public roads inside the park? From my understanding from talking to the owner of the park the other weekend up there most of the tracks are classed as public roads.
Also he said i would need some type of 3rd party extension to compete but did not know where i would get one for an unreg vehicle.
How do i get a third party extension on an unreg vehicle?
There is no info at all on pricing on the XRCC site other than to enter it is $280. It doesnt even say what a competitor gets for $280.
How much for spectators?
Will there be catering for any of the events?
I would have rang Dave but i think a lot of others would also be wondering this and i thought that seing this site is the XRCC's main way of advertising the event it would be good to get them answered here.
Ps:The music on the XRCC site is very annoying

I will pass on what i have found out.
$280.00 covers driver and spotter entry to park and competion vehicle aswell.
It also includes lunch and dinner saturday and breakfast sunday.
If your towing the vehicle up there than the TOW rig is also free, however you are not allowed to drive it once you have unloaded your comp rig.
If you or your family need to drive it around you will need to pay for it aswell.
In regards to the spectator price i would assume it would be normal park fees.
Hope that has help somewhat

Yep - I heard too that the unregistered rigs will have to be trailered to the competition area - then they compete - then they are trailered out.
Dont know how this will work if they have a stage over at the dinner hole like last time. There was some bloody good rock over there but I carnt see that you could trailer a rig over to that side of the park.

well, i was up there testing out my new gears and saw mmm in his GQ shorty, tj pete in his jeep wagon and lance in his GQ wagon...not a rockcrawler in sight
Went over to see if i could give glenn a hand with the ASCC tracks but there was no one over there either :(
Only had a few sprinkles of rain while over the hill around monsildale it had pissed down :(
On the bright side, the gears went well, bloody nice to finally have a decent low range

We tried to come up but had gearbox problems and couldnt make it.
So how did this weekend go?
Have we got any more info on the pricing and stuff?
And has the unregistered vehicle problem been sorted out yet?
It will be a real shame to see all these guys building these rigs that cant be registered if this comp falls on its arse.
