I recently swapped out a full floating rear axle and diff, along with gearbox and transfer case from a donor FJ40 into my rig.
(the diff and box in donor had been recently reco)
Only problem is the yoke bolt patterns on the driveshafts and transfer case are different. (Discovered only after everything was installed.)
I grabbed the rear driveshaft from the donor rig, but its too short because of the box having been forward for the V8 conversion.
My question is, do i just take both driveshafts in and have the yokes swapped over?
if so, what sort of beer tokens required?

FJ40 Driveshaft yoke bolt patterns.
now in Perth
just take the one with the correct pattern in and tell them the flange to flange measurement. and they will cut and lengthen it. theres a guy in preston charges round 200 and he will fix everything. or you could try melbourne driveshafts, theyre just off the hume.
on the other hand i dont see why you couldnt change the yolks yourself. theres not alot to it.
