Swap Meets, are they any good???

Post by DIRTY ROCK STAR »

Hey all,

As the title says, im wondering about the Landcruiser swap meet this weekend?

who has been to these things before and are they worth a drive down from newcastle??

on the lookout for a locker, and some 40 bits, how do you think i will go at the swap meet looking for these items, or is it mostly people swapping cup holders and ancient recovery gear??

Wouldnt be so concerned if i hadnt seen the TLCC recovery tossers, oops i mean team at events looking like tools.

is it worth the trek???

Its hard to say mate. Ive been going to swaps for years and you never know what you will find. I have been to small ones that were great & big ones that had absolute shit. If it is run by a landcruiser club or such there should be a good chance you will find what you want. Where is this swap at anyway? I hevent heard about it & I might go if it isnt too far for me. Thanks

I was pretty disappointed I gotta say. got there around 8:30 and if there were any bargains to be had, they were all gone! although I did get a 40 litre under floor water tank for the 80 for $130 which I reckon was pretty good.
Free air locker to the first 20 callers!

Numbers looked down on last year.
